Maribyrnong Priority Primary Care Centre - Urgent Care Centre is the second PPCC in Victoria’s Western Suburbs.

The PPCC provides immediate high-quality care for patients with or are experiencing non-life threatening injuries or illnesses.

The PPCC is supported by highly skilled independent doctors and a nursing team, utilising excellent new purpose built treatment and procedure room facilities.

Currently we are open 7 days a week from 1pm to 7pm.

A nurse will triage and admit to the service if suitable



Some common illnesses or injuries that you can receive priority care for include:

We see adults and children

Infection:

  • Fever
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin infection
  • Rashes Cellulitis

Injury:

  • Lacerations/cuts requiring stitches
  • Basic fracture management (sling, moon boot)
  • Minor burns
  • Insect and animal bites
  • Sports injuries

Respiratory:

  • Respiratory conditions
  • Asthma
  • Cough
  • Bronchitis

Gut I Abdominal:

  • Heartburn
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal Pain not related to injury
  • Constipation and diarrhoea

Ear I Nose I Throat:

  • ENT infections
  • Earache
  • Sinus Pain
  • Headache ongoing

Fainting or Fitting:

  • Fainting -brief
  • Headache or migraine
  • Short fitting episode not related to head injury
  • Seizures minor previous presentation


When to call Triple Zero (000)



Call Triple Zero (000) or visit your nearest emergency department if you or someone is experiencing Life threatening emergency (not limited to) such as following:

  • Chest pain or tightness
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Uncontrollable bleeding
  • Severe burns
  • Poisoning
  • Unconsciousness or seizures
  • Numbness or paralysis
  • A life-threatening injury
  • On-going fever in infants
  • Unresponsive
